Music style decision

After completing my research on different genres on music that i could focus my magazine on, I have decided for my magazine to be on the genre of pop music; due to my interest in the genre and that i listen to it a lot, I feel that it would be easy for me as I know and can recognise this style of music. The colour palette and fonts for my magazine will be associated with the pop genre. I listen to pop songs quite a lot, which could seem to be a bit boring as most people listen to this but i feel that this way, my magazine will be more popular as this genre of music is like by many people. It also helps as my intended audience is teenagers and pop is the most popular music genre that teenagers will listen to.
